Bruce Lee's studies in philosophy provided him an endless number of quotes used by so damn many in the martial arts and beyond. I don't know why its taken so long for me to pick up Tao of Jeet Kun Do but I'm really glad I did.

On page 10, you'll find this one:

Art is never decoration, embellishment; instead, it is work of enlightenment. Art, in other words, is a technique for acquiring liberty.

To my fellow practitioners, what we do in AND out of the dojo IS an art.
